The Goonies meets Ghostbusters in Fred Dekker (Night of the Creeps) and Shane Black's (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) 80s tribute to early Universal horror flicks, as one group of kids are the only ones qualified to save the world.

Dracula, the Gill-man, Frankenstein's Monster, the Mummy, and the Wolfman are all after a mysterious amulet that can plunge the world into eternal darkness. Luckily for us, this army from hell has to first get past the Monster Squad, a ragtag bunch of prepubescent monster movie fanatics who will bust out their arsenal of crossbows, dynamite, and shotguns to vanquish all creatures of the night.
