Some poetic, some ironic, epitaphs serve to paint a picture of the character of an individual commemorated by a monument. They tell us things about their values, their last words, academic interests, careers, and even give us a window into the grief of a family left behind many years ago. Join Mount Auburn’s Events and Outreach Coordinator, Corinne Elicone for this evening walking tour to catch a glimpse of her favorite epitaphs at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
