Saturday, September 26, 2015 (rain date September 27th)
The race will begin at approx. 3:30pm
The 2nd Annual Wood Duck Derby ("Derby") is a fundraiser sponsored by Mass Audubon's Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary and The Norfolk Community League. Wood Ducks (aka Rubber ducks), which have been adopted by supporters of the fundraiser, will splash into the Stony Brook pond and race downstream towards the finish line to win great prizes for their adoptive parents.
Come to cheer the ducks on while also enjoying Stony Brook's Annual Fall Fair! There will be lots of fun games, food, entertainment, music and more for you and your family to enjoy.
All proceeds from the event go to supporting Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary and The Norfolk Community League.
How do I Adopt a Duck?
Supporters can adopt a duck for $5, a Quack Pack (5 for $20) or a Flock of Ducks (25 for $100) for a chance to win. Adopt a duck by clicking HERE!
Ducks can also be adopted in person at Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary (108 North Street, Norfolk MA). Ducks are up for adoption online through September 17th. A limited number of ducks will also be available at the Fall Festival.
