Are you brave enough to spend 30 hours in a coffin?
We invite the most daring people to increase the Fright Fest fear factor with our 2nd Annual 30-hour Coffin Challenge. The terrifying ordeal will kick off on Saturday, October 12 and run 30 consecutive hours through Sunday, October 13. We will select six individuals to take on this terrifying challenge. Do you have what it takes? The six selected challengers will enter their coffin on 12PM Saturday, October 12 and “hopefully” remain until 6PM on Sunday, October 13. Trust us, you will be SCREAMING for this 30-hour ordeal to come to an end. The 30 Hour Coffin Challenge will take place in our CARNEVIL section of the park. Hoping, you are not afraid of CLOWNS! This year we will be ramping up the scare with a “Dare Wheel”. Contestants will be required to complete a random selection of challenges throughout the 30 hours. Their fate will be selected by spinning a wheel with the below list of options (We threw in a few easy ones too, you’re welcome).
For the 2019 contest, there can only be ONE remaining Coffin Challenge champion. If there are still remaining contestants at the end of the contest…one victim will be crowned the champion if they can eat three extremely hot chicken wings the fastest (yes, we will be using hot sauce at a 1 million Scoville rating)! This contest is NOT for the timid, scared, squeamish, or meek…do not tell us we didn’t warn you….

Drink a Vanilla Milk Shake
Eat a bag of Cotton Candy
Drink a Refreshing cup of a Coca-Cola product
15 Minutes to use their cell-phone
15 minutes to stretch outside the coffin
Ride New England SkyScreamer (Backwards)
Hold a snake for 1 minute
Be blindfolded for an hour
Play “what’s in the box?”
Eat a jar of baby food
Eat two super sour candies (i.e. very intense warheads)
Eat a jalapeno
Eat chicken liver
Eat a dried cricket
Eat dried larvae
Eat a tablespoon of horseradish
Ride Night Wing

The Prizes:
There will be one winner who will claim the top prize. If there is a tie, all remaining contestants will be required to eat VERY hot chicken wings with a minimum Scoville rating of 1 million. For the contestant who completely eats their chicken wing the fastest will take home the following…

Fine Print:
Coffin Dweller Requirements:
• Must be 18 or older and have a valid photo ID

• Cannot have any medical conditions that would make lying in a coffin for 30 hours a risk to your health or well-being
• Must sign a waiver at check-in
• Must be willing and able to lie comfortably in a claustrophobic-sized 2 x 7 coffin
• Must provide your own pillow and sleeping bag or blankets

All interested contestants must complete their registration by noon on September 29 (simply, click on the registration button below). Each participant vying for a coffin will need to answer in 100 words or less, “Why do you want to take the 30-Hour Coffin Challenge at Six Flags New England?” Be sure to review the Official Contest Rules to see how coffin dwellers will be selected. The six winning participants will be contacted via phone on Monday, October 7 starting at 5:00PM and must be available for all 30 hours throughout the entire contest.
