Shop in one of New England’s largest olde-world marketplaces selling everything from clothing, jewelry, and housewares to swords, toys, and collectibles. All the Faire is a stage with jousting knights, armored combat, belly dancers, fire eaters, acrobats, musicians, and many other shows all included with your admission. 
Turn in $250* in receipts at our gift shop before the weekend ends and receive a complimentary ticket to return this season.

Open up a whole new world for your pet when you attend The Connecticut Renaissance Faire’s “Pet & Marketplace” weekend. Participate in daily contests with your pet to win prizes or just shop our medieval marketplace for a thoughtful gift to commemorate the day.

Saturday, Oct 1st - Pet Costume Contest
Wizards. Princesses. Knights. Dragons. Fairies. Who doesn’t love to dress up their pet in cool costumes? Get your extended family member involved in the fun by dressing them up in a fantasy costume and joining us for our costume contest.
Sunday, Oct 2nd - Sunday Contest: Pet Trick Contest
Does your pet have a trick that makes them stand out from the crowd? Are they able to do something that will WOW the audience as they look on? If so, this is your chance to shine and maybe win some prizes.

Contest Info: Unless otherwise specified, entry into all contests at the Special Events Stage are included with your same-day admission to the Faire. If you are planning to enter a contest, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start. At the discretion of the contest host, some events may choose to limit the number of participants in a particular contest due to time restrictions. 

Please note: Parking for this event is FREE when you park on the lot for the North Haven Fairgrounds.
