Join us for an evening canoe trip on the night of this full moon. The sturgeon moon, sometimes called the fishing moon as well, was named because more sturgeon were caught at this time of year. We don't expect to see sturgeon, but we will be learning about the natural history of the beaver. After a short introduction, we will head out in the canoes to watch for beaver and the full moon rising to the east. We'll then explore the Mill River and the Oxbow.
